An alert received by Charleston R-I administrators warns that parents should have received a yellow annual renewal form marked "time-sensitive" in the mail. Failure to complete and return this form may have resulted in the child no longer having insurance coverage.
MO HealthNet/Medicaid includes the following companies: Home State Health, UnitedHealthcare, Missouri Care, and MO HealthNet.
Parents are advised to go to the Department of Social Services Website to check their child’s Medicaid status: https://mydss.mo.gov/ and click on the
“Check My Status” button.
If a child has lost insurance coverage, the parent MUST reapply online at https://mydss.mo.gov/qualify.
For assistance with lost insurance / Medicaid coverage or for assistance with the online application, parents should call the Family Support Division at 1-855-373-9994.
Parents may also contact the child’s medical provider or school and ask to speak with a guidance counselor.
